Completed the Manitowoc–Two Rivers YMCA Triathlon on Saturday morning. Very good race–well put together. It was small, but there were some good racers there. There was also a guy who was competing in his 100th triathlon. His race bib number was 100. Fun race in a really nice looking town on Lake Michigan. Had a good time. Probably ate too many free subway sandwiches afterward while waiting for the awards ceremony. I felt sick later. I had to stop for a dirty chai at Manitowoc Coffee on my way out of town. I stuck it on the center console (not where I should have…) while buckling my seatbelt, and it wasn’t until a half mile later that I looked over and saw it upside down on the passenger seat. Grrrr…. I was probably more ticked about losing half my coffee than I was about my seat. At least I like the smell of dirty chai… It’ll be there for a while.
