100 Mile Ride to Support Childhood Cancer Research!
April 6th, 2016 | Comment?
On June 11, I will be participating in the Trek 100—Ride For Hope cycling event alongside other cycling or multisport athletes as a fundraiser to support research benefitting children with cancer and blood disorders. I’ve elected to ride 100 miles, and have a goal of raising $2 per mile. Donations are collected by the MACC Fund, Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc. The MACC Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which raises funds to support research for pediatric cancer and blood disorders.
“Today, great strides are being made in the treatment of childhood cancers and related blood disorders. But cancer still remains the leading disease-related cause of death in children after the newborn period. Help us continue the battle against childhood cancer and related blood disorders during the 27th Annual Trek 100 Ride for Hope!” — trek100.org
